  Description

  The Ph.D. in Physics, 36th cycle started on November 2020, and it will be over at the beginning of 2024.

  Italian and foreign students learn how to do independent research and improve their academic skills working in one of the research areas of the Department: astroparticle physics, astrophysics, geophysics, matter physics, nuclear physics, subnuclear physics, theoretical physics.

  For their academic programme students may choose their favourite subjects in a vast range of highly specialized courses taught in English. The thesis (to be written in English as well) has to rely on original research work, normally documented by means of published and peer reviewed results.
