PHD MOBILITY
The PhD student, in agreement with their supervisor, plans a mobility period and its scientific justification. The proposal must be submitted to the Coordinator using the appropriate form, duly signed by the fund manager if the funds used are not those of the PhD program. The Coordinator is responsible for forwarding the authorization to the administration.
At the end of the mobility period, once back at their home institution, the PhD student must complete and submit to the administration the appropriate form for the reimbursement of expenses incurred during the mission.

Procedure for Opening a Mission and Requesting the PhD Scholarship Increase
PhD candidates are required to open their mission through the U-GOV platform, where the entire period of stay abroad will be recorded.
During the procedure, it is necessary to request prior authorization from the Coordinator of the PhD Programme, selecting the required information among the options displayed on the screen (project, PhD course, etc.).
PhD candidates are entitled to a 50% increase of their scholarship for research periods abroad, up to a maximum total duration of 12 months.
For the payment of the increase, the PhD candidate must submit a certificate on the official letterhead of the host institution, signed by the supervisor, stating:
- the actual period spent abroad;
- a brief summary of the activities carried out.
For the monthly payment of the increase, the certificate must be sent to the Departmental PhD Office.
